Moritz Frankl founded ecomtorials just over two years ago and, with a ten-person team, builds advertorial funnels for e-commerce brands with at least eight-figure revenues.
Until now, the agency has grown almost entirely through referrals, but outside those circles, hardly anyone knew ecomtorials.
On LinkedIn, Moritz started from practically zero: only a handful of posts in three years, around 1,000 followers, and neither ads nor outreach. Making it harder is the narrow target audience – ecomtorials only works with e-commerce brands, and advertorials only pay off for certain niches and revenue sizes.
The goal was clear: position Moritz as the advertorial specialist in the DACH region, own the topic on a technical level – and use LinkedIn to reliably generate qualified inquiries from exactly the e-commerce brands that fit ecomtorials.

01 The Foundation
Everything started with a Deep Dive Workshop. We worked out how to translate ecomtorials' sharp positioning and its advantages into a clear content strategy for LinkedIn. In parallel, we created a very narrow Target Account List: e-commerce brands above €10M in revenue in explanation-heavy niches like health, beauty and supplements, plus performance marketing agencies as partners and multipliers.
02 Founder-Led Content
Moritz brings the depth of expertise – we bring the system. In bi-weekly content calls, we extract his insights on advertorials as well as his personal founder story. Our team turns these into 2–3 posts and visuals per week.
03 Account-Based Amplification
We amplify the strongest posts as Thought Leader Ads, targeted directly at the decision-makers on the Target Account List. This keeps Moritz consistently visible with exactly the brands that are relevant for ecomtorials – far beyond the organic feed.
04 Signal-Based Outreach
In parallel, we track content and ad signals like follows, likes, comments and lead magnet sign-ups. Every lead is qualified individually and approached personally, so we never burn the narrow target audience.
The impact we created
In the first six weeks, Moritz generated nearly 35,000 impressions within an extremely narrow target audience. Regular lead magnets also continuously attract decision-makers from relevant e-commerce brands.
Above all, the content feeds the pipeline directly: more than 10 qualified meetings came in during this time, two of which Moritz has already turned into new clients – together €15,400 in new monthly revenue. One of them is among the best-known eight-figure supplement and nutrition brands in the DACH region. A dream client Moritz had been eyeing for months and has now won through his presence on LinkedIn. And all of this before the partnership was even two months old.
